Honesty, integrity and hard work are the pillars on which Rowland, Inc. was founded 35 years ago. Keith Rowland took his engineering and construction management background combined with his entrepreneurial spirit and started doing business as Rowland, Inc. (CUC-052617) in 1987, focusing primarily on utility construction work in West Central Florida. Since that time, Keith and his sons Ken and Kevin have completed hundreds of millions of dollars’ worth of projects for governmental owners in the areas of manhole rehabilitation, lift station rehabilitation, sanitary sewer construction, storm sewer construction, water main constructions, reclaimed water construction, concrete construction, road building and emergency water and sewer repair.
In 1992 Rowland Inc. took our well-earned reputation for integrity and quality of work and entered the Manhole Rehabilitation business. We recognized a severe and growing issue with our aging sanitary sewer infrastructure was manhole degradation, inflow and infiltration. Increased wastewater processing expenses due to inflow and infiltration, costs taxpayers millions of dollars each year. Significant savings are generated by rehabilitating manholes, lift stations and sewer lines. Rowland, Inc. has been an applicator of Sewpercoat brand cementitious material for 30 years. In 2017, Rowland became an approved applicator for Raven Lining Systems protective coatings. We currently apply Epoxytec coatings. We have rehabilitated over 200,000 vertical feet of manholes and lift stations, stopping degradation, delivering structural integrity and reducing wastewater inflow and infiltration. Our application comes with a ten-year warranty on material and installation.

History
Rowland Inc. of Pinellas Park, Florida is a state licensed Utility Contractor specializing in utility construction and manhole rehabilitation for state and local governments. Rowland Inc. was established in 1987 when Keith Rowland purchased Jack Laurence Contracting from Phil Laurence.
In 1987, Keith was joined by his sons, Ken and Kevin, upon their graduation from college, and began passing on his complete knowledge of the industry. Keith retired in 2002 turning over management of Rowland Inc. to Ken and Kevin.
In July 2022, Rowland was acquired by Calvert Street Capital Partners. The entire Rowland management team remained on board to work with the team at Calvert Street to continue to grow our company in the state of Florida and beyond both organically and via acquisition.
